Attempting to create web-based version of application with VS

To be honest, a friend in IT had urged me to convert it to a web application. Others might want to do the same with their own applications, so that's why I created the forum topic here. While I was willing to appease my friend, I had my doubts. You say "just an opinion," but yours is the most cogent one thus far. Yeah, why not just market what I have?
